Hi, I’m Smita 👋
I’m a senior technical writer who likes asking questions. My job is to chase down clarity, wrestle ambiguity into structure, and write docs people actually want to read.
Over the last 10 years in SaaS, I’ve documented platforms, APIs, onboarding flows, and feature releases — and secretly enjoyed every time a PM said, “Wow, I didn’t think of that.” I currently lead platform documentation at Zuora, where I also moonlight as a release wrangler, internal enabler, and all-around doc nerd.
I use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, and Trupeer to make content more scalable, smarter, and occasionally more fun. I believe great documentation is quiet leadership — it guides, it enables, and it sticks around long after everyone’s left the Zoom call.
When I’m not writing, I’m mentoring, triaging, storyboarding product videos, or trying to convince engineers that yes, tone does matter.
